:FWIW, that is a completely different design than was used on The Peacemaker which is 4.5" thick, has 2.5" inlet and outlet pipes facing straight back (not out the sides like in yours) and flows 1700cfm of air.

Well of course, silly. that "completely different design" you were talking about is like the one I had Bell make for me before the peacemaker happened.

The core the peacemaker has is rated at 1091 cfm on Bell's site at a 1 psi drop. the flow figures I have posted in classifieds are at that same 1 psi drop. yes I could post a bigger 1700cfm number but at what drop is that? a 4.5" version of my fmic will flow just as much as the peacemakers FMIC. fwiw I made this intercooler for people who wanted a better intercooler without having to do the 2.5" piping mod.
And as for the hose, I couldnt find silicone hose locally on a sunday so I picked up what I could find to give people a visual representation of how the piping looks on the FMIC.
And thats O'reilly hose thank you. :P But I know you arent knocking NAPA hose considering you guys used iton therin's Hard pipes.(who knows how many other cars) peace.
